Carbon fiber hand guard

Anybody using one? Happy with it? Other light weight alternatives? I want to build a light weight 6x45 hunting AR.

I have a PRI GEN III on one of my ARs. Its not as light as a DD Lite rail ( I don't think) but it stays very cool. Which is a big deal to me being in the AZ desert in the summer.

I have the C.F. Clark rifle length on my 3gun rifle and it's quite nice. It does keep cool, however is very sturdy and can take any abuse you may give it.

That would have been my initial question, how cool does it stay versus an aluminum fore-end...

My other questions would be:

Does it even get warm?

How are the ergonomics?
