Could anybody post some picture of an AR with a 16" barrel and 9" rail?

I am thinking about a Rock River with a 9" rail. A full uninterupted rail.

16" Carbine Gas with a 9" FF rail I'm assuming? Why one of those?

I want more real estate than the 7" and don't want to use the fixed sight. So I am looking at the 9" but for some reason it's difficult to find pictures.

Pimpmygun.com (http://pimpmygun.doctornoob.com/app.php) is sometimes useful for this kind of thing...

If that's one you're looking at, have you considered the S&W VTAC uppers?

Id go with a longer rail if you are going that route. Either a 10" or 11"

You won't find many pictures of tat setup, because people who are going to run a low profile gas block under a rail usually opt for at least a 10 to 11" rail system. I have a 16" middy with a 9" rail, but it as a standard front sight base.

Noveske has an N4 with a 9" VLTOR VIS that they combine with their 16" + Switchblock set up. Check out their site. (For some reason I'm not able to post with active links right now...hmmm). Try http://noveskerifleworks.com/imimg/lrv-556-sb_4d.jpg

I also agree that I would go with a longer rail on a 16". I'm using a 13" Troy TRX and I'm digging that extra length.
