Flash Hider

A quick question regarding flash hiders/compensators:

I am building a light weight 16" middy. I am using a DD 16" "light weight" HF barrel. The flair at the muzzle i s 0.625 diameter. I have never built a rig with a small diameter muzzle and I am now curious as to which flash hider/compensator would be the best diameteral match up...... if that is of any real concern?

It makes no difference. Use whatever muzzle device you want. Some will obviously look better than others on the skinnier barrel.

I'd just throw a basic A2 style hider on it for now, and start deciding after shooting a case where you want to head with it (a brake, flash hider, or if the $8 A2 comp works well enough).
