I just got a few sets of these, and so far, I'm very happy about the improvements over the first generation. The included front sight adjustment tool is a nice touch too.

One of the welcome changes with the MBUS Gen 2 is the use of flathead screws instead of allen screws
Agreed. Its always easier to find a standard flathead or improvised tool to use as opposed to a specific sized allenhead. The Gen 1 changed sometime during production.
