It is better termed a holder rather than holster.

Interesting option for a Glock with a suppressor attached.

Exactly. It will let you run it with one.
The draw stroke is completely different from an actual holster. You rotate the butt outwards on the barrel axis. and pull the pistol straight out. It would be nice for situations where you may not have room for a conventional draw stroke. A vehicle crewmwan would probably find some utility in it.
Otherwise, if you keep its limitations in mind it will work for some users. It is not a duty holster and has no security/retention.
