Today was my first range session with the T-1. It was also the first session with my suppressed SBR, so I was trying out new buffers, ammo, etc. Lots of things to think about. I should have done a better job of documenting everything, but I was having too much fun.

There are lots of reasons to choose the T-1; weight, battery life, durability and simplicity were key reasons for me. I look forward to many more days of enjoyment.

I picked up a T1 a few years ago for the below carbine, which I wanted to have an optic on but still keep the weight fairly low. It's never been turned off and is still going on the original battery. The cost is indeed on the high side and I wish the small removable caps were tethered, but it is a great optic.

Did that used to be a full auto lower?

And on-topic, I got my T-1 from ar-15tactical.com for $558 shipped CONUS. Ar-15tactical.com looks like it's temporarily shut down right now though.

You can also get a T-1 from laruetactical.com with a LT-660 (lower 1/3 cowitness) for $645, free shipping if .mil/leo. Considering the LT-660 is $100 on its own, that's roughly the same price as ar-15tactical.com.

So I think the price is about $100 high in the review.

I think the T-1 is great for a number of reasons besides the price. It is lightweight, compact, and 50,000 hours of continuous use from a single battery is one of the reasons I purchased the optic and I'm a huge Aimpoint fan. I have mine in the KAC Mount, I chose this mount for a few reasons. Those being the mount comes with risers so you can adjust the height to your liking, was able to get the mount for aroun $115 which I thought was a reasonable price, and the mount has more rail contact points compared to some of the other mounts out there. The only downfall was the amount of screws, but thats what locktite is for.

Negative, older Colt 6520 (later convered to a flatt top) with the annoying pinned in sear block.

I edited the price to show that it is $650 with mount.

Awesome for you. Had to ask though. Thanks.
