May not be the most "gucci" but I know there are quite a few people (including myself) using the Maxpedition Rollypoly bags.

EAG also makes one but I believe you have to take their course to get one.

I don't know what size.... thats why I asked what Maxpedition size he uses.

I am looking for some input of what folks are using and what works and what doesn't. I know its a drop pouch but there are pro's and cons of each. Just looking to make a educated choice instead of hit or miss.

What size?

Myself personally I rock the "regular" size one. Maxpedition claims it will hold seven 30rd M-16 mags and I don't doubt it but personally I've never put that many in there.

Good luck.

I have the Endom and I like it. I use it for 3 gun and range days. I usually store my empty mags, loose ammo, water bottle, gloves, etc. The last time I used it was at NC Recon and I kept my loose shotgun shells in it. Jumping/rolling around..everything stayed in place.

Nicest two out there are the EAG and the upcoming BFG HW SSE pouch. Try calling EAG on the phone and ask if you can get one.
CSM ones are really popular among our recon guys here, and I have one. They are very good pouches,

Pat is not selling those to the public as of right now. Only way to get them is at one of his classes... He said that when his new site is up that they might be available on a limited basis.

Tactical Tailor makes a decent foldaway pouch.

Oh, I keep forgetting that I get different answers on that when I introduce myself starting with rank and service. Still worth the wait in my mind, although the more I look at the Emdom and LBT equivalent offerings the more those seem to make sense.
I ran the cheap 5.11 folding dump pouches in Afghanistan (one belt, one plate carrier) and actually had a good deal of success with those, they're just on the thick side when folded, and the retaining system takes more than one hand or lots of practice to adjust.

The Tactical Tailor Fight Light (http://www.tacticaltailor.com/fightlight/fight-light-roll-up-dump-pouch-1) dump pouch is worth considering.

It is, but everyone is backordered on them. I tried three different places recently and ended up getting an emdom because I had time limitations on a training event i'm headed to.
