Here's mine.
I like OD green, so hence the color.
The point of this rifle was to K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple Stupid), there for I went with the MOE Hand Guard and Stock. They are both simple, clean and comfortable for me and I can also add rails to the hand guard if I choose. I went with the MIAD grip for comfort, I love the way it feels with the back & front straps I have on it.

Flat dark earth stock and grip. It had a MOE handguard on it until two weeks ago.

Black MOE handguard and MOE+ grip (disregard the A2-stock)

http://img857.imageshack.us/img857/3785/oberland052.th.jpg (http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/857/oberland052.jpg/)

ETA: I went with the MOE handguard because I tend to have my reaction hand quite far forward (been known to touch the FSB which can be an "ouchie") and the shape of the standard A2 does not fit me.

The reason I went with the MOE+ grip is that I hate finger grooves with a passion, and the MIAD did not offer me any advantage over the MOE. I also find a lot of grips to be super slippery when it's warm outside (being a civvie I seldom shoot with a glove on my shooting hand), so the more grippy rubberized surface of the MOE+ was an instant win for me.

Business-Class Carbine in Black.

Overall Idea is a "super-light" build on a low budget. Spike's Tactical Lightweight 14.5" barrel with a pinned Dynacomp, Midlength system (I feel it's more reliable and lower stress on the gun than a carbine length, plus added sight radius is always better) Palmetto State Arms MOE LPK, and a MOE stock (both cheaper and lighter than other options. Mostly cheaper.)

The upper half was on sale at AIM Surplus for $499, plus free shipping and included 5 PMags. Other than the LPK, the rest of the lower's parts were either "donated" from buddies with junk to get rid of or picked up cheap at a show. The rear sight is a MATECH BUIS I got on clearance from some online retailer for about $50.

Overall the build only cost me around $750-800 and is nearly as light as my M&P15-22...

Thanks!!! Keep'm coming!!!!

While images are enjoyed and appreciated, this board is a little different than most of the others. I edited your original thread to fit in a bit more with the overall theme of the board. We are more than just a Google image search, and images combined with reasons are much more helpful for those who lurk or are looking for information.

Thanks,

Stick

Here's mine. More of a "resto-mod" theme build. I really like the feel of the MOE handguard and grip, didn't care for the MOE or CTR stock so the older vltor modstock that Bravocompany was clearing out. Didn't plan on using a foward grip. The MOE kit updated the build but kept it old school I thinki. Made for a great light setup that shoots great:

Holes in the MOE handguard are for the Novekse QD attachement:

this my newest AR...a PSA middy with OD Magpul furniture.

I really like the MOE handguards because

1) I can put as much or as little rail-estate as I want. I tend to prefer just a side mount for a light and RSA
2) I really like the way they look

Here is my 6920 with FDE furniture. While I like simplicity of the MOE, I must admit that I also like the look of the Magpul rail covers.

One thing I will add, is that I really like the CTR stock on my 6920. And with the recent price job, what's not to love?
