I was assembling my new upper yesterday consisting of:

Noveske 11.5 SS Switchblock barrel
Centurion Arms 7.0 rail
Colt upper receiver
Colt barrel nut

Get the barrel nut on torqued 3 times, yadda yadda. Installed the switchblock and hammered the pin into place. As I try to install the upper section of the rail it hits the rotating drum of the switchblock.

Anyone running a switchblock barrel and Centurion rail? Me thinks I might have to go to another rail like a DD Lite or Omega X

Thanks
Kyle

Can you relieve the rail, or is there too much material to play around with?

Its not much extra material. I could grind down the front of the top rail and blast it with cerakote.

Ive got a DD Omega X on the way to see if that works, which I imagine it will before I start hacking on the Centurion.

Worst case I have an extra rail. And I think there is a rule somewhere that says "thou shalt makeith an extra carbine when you are presented with an rail "

Ill snap a pic of the fitment Saturday when I get home. I was getting agrivated at it last night and decided to walk away before I "forced" something too much.
