Has anyone had their stock or other parts "camo dipped"? If so, who did you use and how much did it cost you? I was looking at getting some camo dipping done and was either going to pay someone, or try these DIY dip kits - http://www.camodipkit.com

I have seen some work from a local gunshop that does their own dipping, mostly on hunting guns albeit. I like the effect in general, however I did notice some serious stretching of the camo patterns in certain places. Also, I don't know if this is a result of the process being done incorrectly or if it is the norm, but the finish can peel or flake off. As for the price, I seem to recall it being somewheres around $150-200. For that price, I would rather take it to someone who knows what they are doing and get a somewhat guaranteed result, rather than spend half of that on the kit. Unless the kit does several guns and you plan on doing several guns. Your call.
