Seeing the economy in Michigan plumet faster than everr thought that it could I have found a bit of light in the darkness.
I have yet to own one but i'll be purchasing one asap.

I wrote the company and they quikly responded to my questions. They state that the lowers are mil-spec finished and forged 7075.Only $99 as of now.

Does anyone know anything about the company?

I plan to support them as much as I can if the receivers are what they say they are, Michigan needs all the helpm we can get. I'm in the middle of a 14.5 middy BCM build that I will order one of their lowers for sometime this summer.

I started working with DGW early in 2011 when they were prototyping their first lowers. The parent company, Central Screw Products, was actually founded in 1924 and has a great reputation in manufacturing. I work with the owners personally and they are really great people. You are exactly right about the Michigan economy being terrible; Detroit Gun Works wants to show the world that Detroit and Michigan manufacturing are not dead! I'm the one from GR pestering you on Facebook about getting some lowers over to my side of the state. Looks like your stirring up some interest from Michiganders on your fb page. I've been putting the word out to my friends, people from Michigan
are all about buying a DGW lower! I couldn't think of a better way to stimulate the local economy!
