I was contemplating the replacement of my standard ACOG scope base with a QD lever throw. My question is this:

Is there a difference between the single lever and the double lever bases? I see Bobro makes a nice single lever and ARMS produce both a single and double throw. The average person may assume the double is a more solid attachment and would hold zero better when removing and reattaching. Your professional comments and suggestions are welcome and thank you in advance.

IIRC, the ACOG was heavily tested for different mounting bases and Bobro won out over all the others by a long margin. This was testing done by Trijicon themselves.

Single is solid enough - my LT RCO model holds, and a lot of the GDI issued TA31RCOM# models are the single lever, so I wouldn't worry about it.
