Mossberg 930 Bbl. Dia. Question ?

Hello Guy's, I'm going to install a set of XS Peep's on my Model 930, 18.5" "Home Security" variant. ( Prod. # 85320 ) XS has the sight set I need, BUT, it will only fit the 930 with a "thin diameter" barrel, NOT this newer thicker variety. All my gun tools are still packaged up, so I don't have a caliper available. So, does anyone have an idea as to the approximate date Mossberg began producing 930's with a thicker barrel ?? Being that my example is serial # AF 010XXX & it's buttstock had a date sticker of 09-15-2006, I figure that I'm safe to assume it's one of the earlier "thin" barrel models. If anyone could shed some light on this issue, I'd be very much appreciative. THANK YOU

OFM has been sending out mixed bag shotguns with features of various generations of 930. So even with the manufacture date, you can still get shotguns that have different barrel thicknesses, sight assemblies, and pistons.
