According to DuPont, 620*F is the melting point, but even on centerfire rifle, I've never gotten it so scorchingly hot it's been a gooey mess or anything, and I've done mag dumps on 16" and 18" ARs. I'd be interested to see how hot the threads get versus the blast baffle area of a can

Whenever I remove the suppressor from the host, and I use it Teflon tape on 9mm pistol and 5.56 rifle direct thread cans, the tape has been compressed into the threads and there's usually some amount of carbon blacking, so I use a 9mm bore brush and scrub the old tape off (comes off easily) and put about 1.5 rotations of new tape on. Never had a direct thread suppressor back off while using it, both on 1/2x28 and 13.5x1LH threads

I think I'll pick some up for retaining my thread protector on my threaded WC barrel. I haven't used it much because I have to retighten it every mag or two.

I got too many glocks, only 4 customized ones, the rest are basically stock, which is usually how I prefer them.

Out of curiosity, why would you change out the barrel on a Glock without going to a threaded one? Glock barrels are pretty outstanding, is it a different caliber or just for looks? Not hatin', just curious.

100% agree with you. I have other plans for the barrel, just threw it on for a picture.

Dave some of the guys I know have changed their Glock barrels out because they wanted button rifling to shoot their lead reloads.

Along with shooting lead and other stuff, tighter chamber/more case support, different twist rate...

But for me a glock isn't a Match shooting sorta pistol so a barrel is cool looking but myself would never throw that money out for one..

It feels better than it looks. The backstrap is reduced a little, but only enough to remove the backstrap texturing.

Every little bit helps. Tbh, after having my P30, I'm not sure I won't hate the Legion grip, as it has a blocky look to it as well. I love my Glocks, but the grip is as sexy as a brick.

I replied to you PM, but yes, this is to keep the gun in battery on contact shots. Niche product for sure. Dark Hour Defense is run by Chris Quigley, formerly of SMOS and he asked me to try out the SEAX (which is what he's calling it) He's working with a friend of his to do holsters. There will be another version very soon to keep the rail for lights as well as a G17 version.

Let us know in the review section how those go for you. I was thinking of popping for a set, but that right side "paddle" looks like it could easily hit your holster, especially under duress, and send your mag and ammo flying. Looking forward to an unbiased review.
