How's that barrel shoot?Depends on which gun its attached to, but yeah, the cyclic rate kinda makes accuracy secondary. I do feel like the 22 is a little easier to control. You can keep it man sized out to 20' with practice.

Havent had a chance to take it to the range yet, but I agree its exspensive, but probably close to the same price as a aftermarket slide, comp and threaded barrel to equal what you get with the war package.

I have 5207 rounds with that setup on that gun and I love it. Most of the shooting has either been drills on my own (B8s, transition-type drills, various pistol drills) or competition. That has been my go-to 2-gun competition gun for several years. Yes, it's bulky, but I'm not trying to conceal anything. It works extremely well in the rain. It sits pretty high, so the presentation is a little different than an ACRO, but not much. It's much different from an RMR, so transitioning between the two requires a few mags to remember the muscle memory (at least for me).

The only real issue I've had with it is the screw loosening after 700-1000 rounds, but I can't honestly remember if I ever Loc-tited it when I first installed it, so it's tough to blame the mount for that. The good thing about the mount if that screw does loosen is that it's fitted into that position so it can't really loose zero, so once that screw gets retightened, no zeroing has been necessary. After the last time it happened, I think I finally addressed the issue and it hasn't loosened in a while.

I run this in a RMR ALS holster that's been cut down with a Dremel and it's been great. Short version: for what it's been designed to do, I've been very happy.

The comp shoots very flat. 9mm has low recoil as it is, but it's a fun shooter. If you get one, you won't regret it. The attachment method is also a lot better than set screws.

Honestly, I my favorite is probably my duty gun. An unmodified G17 Gen 4 MOS with a RMR and Streamlight TLR1HL. Shot 100% the last 4 quals with it.

I haven’t tried the nomad or other frames, but the p80 grip angle is so much better then a standard Glock frame to me.

Edit: seen a lot of those cmc slides being posted, and honestly out of the many out now, I like the lines/cuts on those.

I'll admit the slide serrations are well thought out on the CMC slide.

I do like the P80 grip angle, but they've just been decent for me. I've had some issues with binding... and I'm not talking about the 80% ones either, the finished ones.

I finally got a 509T that I put on a Sig. I'm going to try that out next range session to see if I like it any more than the 507. I will admit the 507 for the price, weight, features is hard to beat.

I basically waste all of my Amazon and other CC rewards on 4-5 free RMR's a year. That's basically how I ended up putting dots on everything. Plus the added benefit of improved accuracy of course.

A very small update on the 508T...Overall I like it so far. Only about 120 rounds, but I found the circle/dot to not be very helpful when shooting B8s, but the circle/dot combo when shooting more dynamically made it much easier to shoot both eyes open for me than with a regular dot (I'm cross-eyed dominant, but still shoot with my strong side/weak eye).

Another issue I have with most non-RMR pistol sights is the reflection of the emitter when shooting into the sun. Leupolds and Docters are terrible and create 5+ small false "dots" but RMRs don't really have the issue. The 508 has one slight reflection which is a little distracting with just the dot mode on, but it isn't an issue with the dot/circle mode on.

So far, I'm happy with the purchase, so on to more shooting with it.
