We achieved this by leaving the "meat" of the barrel towards the chamber and removing extra weight off the muzzle end where the bullet has less energy. We didn't save a ton off the standard barrel (little over 1 oz). but the balance is much improved for guys who are looking to build the lightest most accurate battle rifle.
