MIL-TAC Knives and Tool announces the release of their G10 handgun grips for the SIG SAUER P220, P228/P229, and "other Sig models." As stated in a general announcement e-mail, the " MIL-TAC P226 grips have been very well accepted by the military and law enforcement and concealed carry users because the MIL-TAC G10 grips are virtually indestructible, very ergonomic, and provide a MUCH THINNER and BETTER grip than the standard plastic grips." Expect the same ergonomics and performance with these new grips.
As of this writing, MIL-TAC's website shows grips for the P220 and P229. They will be available sometime in October 2012.
