CMMG is pleased to introduce our new Mk3 RKM Hand Guard.
The hand guard is designed for use with our Mk3Mod11 rifles and upper receivers, however it should work well with SR25 and LR308(high profile) uppers as well.
The Mk3 RKM Hand Guard uses a simple and robust barrel nut and clamping system to attach the upper receiver and barrel. The hand guard utilizes the KeyMod standard established by Vltor and Noveske, the hand guard is compatible with all KeyMod accessories. CMMG will be offering Picatinny rail adapters along with an assortment of KeyMod specific accessories.
We have not yet finalized the pricing and configurations of our rifles and uppers utilizing this hand guard or the pricing of the hand guard system itself. We plan to have pricing finalized and be shipping 1st Quarter 2013.

For reference with the 14" rail shown that rifle is 7.85 lbs unloaded. The barrel nut is made of 4140 CrMo Steel and weights 4.2oz, the 14" rail is made from extruded 6061T-6 AL and weights 13oz.
Before anyone asks, an AR15 version is in the works it should be ready to show off at SHOT show.
