With the popularity of mini red dot sights on pistols in the aftermarket world growing, Smith and Wesson recently announced their new line of Competition and Optic Ready Equipment (CORE) pistols.
These pistols come with the slide milled for adapter plates designed to fit popular mini red dot sights including the Trijicon RMR, Leupold Delta Point, Jpoint, Doctor, C-More STS and Insight MRDS. A taller, new sight setup ensures co-witness with mounted red dot sights, or use with suppressors. The last change over a standard M&Ps is the use of a more aggressive texture in the interchangable palm swells
