I am looking for a spare bolt, a good standard quality. The Lewis standard bolts are always out of stock, so I was going to pick up a BCM. I came across this from JP Enterprises: http://www.jprifles.com/buy.php?item=JPBC-BA5.56

For the price this is obviously not their "enchanced" bolt. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this. I have not received any replies from JP for specs, so I'm a bit unsure about it. Thanks!

JP makes great gear designed for competition, so I doubt that bolt is any different.

I would stick with just a good mil-spec bolt, especially if you're just keeping this as a backup. A quick search revealed that Rainier currently has some bolts in stock:

It seems like a good deal for the price, coming with the firing pin, cam & cotter. Just curious as to the specs, such as material, MPI, etc...

8620 is inferior to C-158 and 9310. Milspec calls for C-158 but many believe 9310 is even stronger as it's used in gears in the areo space & racing industries. In either case, both C-158 & 9310 are stronger than commercial grade 8620

is that bolt made of 8620? I still haven't gotten a reply from them or found info on the website.
