Thank you both for taking the time reading it. I've found that most of my immediate (non gun-owning) friends and family have responded favorably to the article. It's given them a piece they can read, digest and consider without being put off immediately by tone and/or political position.

Thanks for sharing. It's damn near the same argument I make with gun-control advocates that I know. Been working on a similar-type piece myself over the last week. Now I have another source of info to cite!
