Description:

Fortis REV™ is an extremely lightweight yet robust free floating rail system. When designing the REV™, we didn’t want just another rail system, we wanted a better, lighter, feature rich handguard that was robust and within budget. We’ve managed to reduce as much weight as possible while maintaining strength by utilizing a 1 piece body design. KeyMods were added at the 6 & 9 O’clock positions for modularity and additional weight savings. It’s unique mounting system captures a standard AR15 barrel nut for easy installation. Check out all the features and see for yourself why the Fortis REV™ beats the competition.

Looks like it should be super light weight. Do they offer any shorter versions? I typically prefer a 9" rail.

I think Rainier listed on their FB page they would offer 12,14,9,7 and a 12" cutout ... roughly in that order.

I'm trying to find time to build this one up. I'll let you all know how it turns out. On first impression though, it seems very well made and so light, it almost floats out of the shipping box! [:D]

B3,

What's the skinny on that barrel?

The barrel is made by Black Hole Weaponry and features a P3 rifling. Very accurate barrels and one of the best values going.

John- I appreciate Rainier providing this rail on schedule as promised. My 16 y.o. son installed it last night on his rifle. He loves it. I have numerous friends that are now interested in this rail. Get them back in stock A.S.A.P. [:D]

Just pre-ordered my REV Rail from FORTIS today. Supposed to ship by the end of February. I'm really excited to receive this rail, hearing a lot of good things about it.

Just picked mine up today. Although, I kinda wish I picked up the 14" but oh well I'll use a 14.5" barrel for it.
