titanium bolts

is there any truth to this claim "Titanium nitride coated, works more smoothly than chrome."....includes tin coated firing pin and cam pin. Is the tin coating any better than something else? Thanks as always.

To my knowledge, no. They each have slick surfaces so I doubt there is much difference. I would personally stick to chrome.
