It gets the job done for now. I need to get a Speedlite to fill in some spots though and so I can have more flexibility when it comes to location. Looking at either a Canon 580EX-II or the new Godox AD200.

Pyzik, though it's a two stage, functionally it feels more like a one stage. The pull is firm. Perfect for an SBR or hunting rig. I wouldn't do it in a precision rig unless upgrading to the adjustable.

I asked UW that same question recently. Haha. He said he is. But he could just configure everything backward to throw us off.

Pretty much ambidextrous with the exception of shooting and writing. Cursed with being left handed on those two. I actually shot right handed until my teens then figured out the whole dominant eye thing when I started bow hunting a lot more.

Yeah the Hogue Grips are underrated. I forgot how good they feel, but I especially like the ones with the over molded beavertail.

I swear I purchased a Colt once that was flawless. The very first time I dropped it onto a mag block the vise wasn't tight and it did a flip onto a pile of steel. Huge gouges on on side. LOL

If you plan on keeping the factory barrel nut I've been pleased with the Fortis fore ends.

That's actually a pallet. Most of the time it's done in the comfort of my living room. It's all artificial lighting.

None when you're behind the gun! I've got 2500 rounds through that rifle at competitions, a class, and a bunch of training and it's such a joy to shoot. When I was zeroing the T-1 after I moved it this weekend, I was shooting prone from a bipod and it was like shooting a .22, albeit louder.

Other than the bolt disintegrating on me a couple of weeks ago, it's been a trouble-free laser beam shooter. We'll see how the 3x-C works out. I'm not convinced yet.

It was roll stamped in the manufacturing process. It was a group buy done by a member named RichM with Jeff's permission. He and Wendy got the lowest numbers, but I like mine just fine. 100 total pieces. Rich was the origin FFL as well and filed the ATF variance paperwork. The lower is made by New Frontier Armory.

My favorite hands-down is the murdered-out 3LE. Reprofiled by 91Bravo and sporting an edge that makes scalpels seem like butterknives.

Probably 308 or 556 caps. The ones that come with brand new barrels to cover the barrel extension.

Correct. That particular cap came off of a .308 barrel. But really, even the barrel extension caps are just these (https://www.stockcap.com/store/short-caps.html).

A buddy of mine and I split a bag of 25. They work well and have held up. Once you have the ID to match the Scout, they're very snug. Unfortunately he bought red when he got them, so they will require a little spray painting.
