I didn't see any thread for Colt's so thought I might add one.

Cool! Haven't seen a set-up like that since I retired from the military. Cool elevation adjustment for the launcher. I'd love to launch some smoke's out of that, but it's pretty much looked down upon at the ranges around here. With all the new M4 and accessories, this takes me back. I'd like to have that one for safe queen, if nothing else. My affinity for that configuration age's me a bit, but what the heck, she's sweet.

I carried that setup for 4 years straight. Loved my 203. Nothing like walking around with 18 HE rounds strapped to your chest and 180 rounds in the belt.

An older 6520 with the A2 style upper receiver swapped out for a flat top several years ago, essentially making a 6720, before there was a 6720.

HA.....why would a USAF security cop need this....to ensure rowdy senior airmen stop taking second helpings of chimichangas at the all ranks club before the first shirts got theirs?

I jest of course.

This had me chuckling. Sad part that is what majority of us did during peace time. It came in handy during a couple rotations though.

FYI I was one of those rowdy SRA at one point.

This gun has gone virtually unchanged since I first put it together in 2007. It's a 6520 with a flattop swap because they didn't sell the 6720 at the time. I've since taken off the redimod and use a smaller light now, but otherwise it hasn't changed.

Don't normally post pictures of myself in a picture, but this turned out pretty well, thanks to a buddy. All Colt...except the obvious.

More Block 2 love on a much colder than forecasted day...

Also, first time out with the FR Pig gloves. Great field test all day, since I never wanted to take them off.

LE6920 - MI 7" free float quad rail. The EOTech 3x works well behind the PRO. Wilson TTU.

Link to the gloves? Not lazy, in the middle of nowhere and using my quick break for WEVO

I want to piggyback my ACOG with an RMR :( there's an original NIB Docter on my local forum but my wife would kill me if I bought it while looking for a new house.

I've got some Colt Pistols I can post here if they count

I finally got out and was able to shoot my new-to-me LE6933. It's a sweetheart.

I did a little work to it to partially restore, and partially enhance the gun. The JP free float tube was replaced with standard M4 carbine hand guards and the Eotech was replaced with a Colt carry handle sight to get the upper back to the way Colt built it. The lower got a Geissele SSA trigger, Magpul MOE grip, and B5 Systems Enhanced SOPMOD stock. This is probably my favorite carbine right now.

I really like the idea ofa 6933 with all Magpul MOE SL parts. The carbine-length handguards with the little wings to go around the FSB would be perfect.

I really like the sound of that! I may just have to give it a try.

Honest question, as it might be the angle/my monitor... That looks like an A1 receiver based on the take-down pin capture points. But the original Commando was an A2 with a S/S/F FCG. Just curious to know what I'm looking at, or like I said, is it just the angle?

It's the angle, it's an A2.

These are Factory 11.5" Select Fire Guns. Basically 6933's with FA.

UW, you inspired me to build upon the idea. The rule of thirds may have reared it's head but lesson learned.

Very nice.

I plan to get more Colt's... I've definitely under acquired in this area. For years I had a single Colt 6920 that I purchased through an LE program during the '08 panic.
