My night sights on my Sig are about 15 years old. I have a noticable decrease in brightness. Is this to be expected?

Yes. The half-life of Tritium is 12.32 years, which means it will lose half its brightness in that time.

Yes. It's normal. 15 years is pretty good though.

Thanks Dave and Tom. Guess that means my Luminox watch is half as bright also! :(

No problem. You might try calling Trijicon. I think they will replace the lamps for less than the cost of new sights.

Great advice Tom. Talked to Trijicon today, they said they will replace the lamps for $54. Thanks again.
