Whether you're a hobbyist or a professional who has to carry a weapon when you go to work, the accessories and parts bill can pile up quickly.
A few years back, I purchased what seemed like a great set of Magpul back up sights. It was 50$ for the set, coyote brown- right up my alley. After scouring the forums for days, I knew I had found the set for me.
I paypal'd him the money and within a few days my sights arrived.
I seriously thought I scored... until this happened.

I couldn't even torque the bugger down and not have it break.
For the safety of yourself and your family, please buy from a reputable dealer. If you don't know of any, there are numerous links to the left, any of these companies have built a reputation over the years and are trusted names in the industry.
Note: The seller on the forum where I purchased these sights had a perfect trader rating.
There are numerous ways to tell counterfeit parts apart from the original product, but sometimes copycats do a pretty good job replicating products. The only real way to be able to tell for sure is to buy them brand new.
