After a few attempts at punching out the front sight base pins, I gave up and took this carbine to the gunsmith next door. I think it took him some heat and some Kroil ... I think he said repeated heating and cooling which let the Kroil work its way down through the holes ... in any event, I finally got the Wilson Combat 9" TRIM rail installed on my Bravo upper.
I love it for what it is - I personally find the NSR forearm a little too thin and quad rails a little too thick regardless of maker. This is right in between, and never got more than "pretty warm" getting it zeroed. 16" BCM SS410 barrel shows a whole lot of possibility, shooting 69 gr Sierra BTHP ...
