MB556K vs MB556K-PN

Looking for someone who has shot both. I know they look about the same but ports on the PN version are smaller. I was just wondering if the PN performs as well as the other, or if it's better to drill the regular version and pin. Then again I could wait for a SFMB 556.

I've shot both, and they have felt the same to me. They were fired on different days, so the effect may have be different for whatever reason, but nothing stood out that I could tell between them in actual use.

The regular version is hardened, so many gunsmiths with charge you extra to pin and weld it as they will have to drill it. To me they look and shoot the same. Are you sure the PN version has smaller ports?

If you're not running a Surefire can, I think there are better options out there.
