Rainier Arms (http://www.rainierarms.com) has released a new Forged stripped upper (http://www.rainierarms.com/?page=shop/detail&product_id=3758). To many of you, this appears to be like their other Gen2 stripped uppers. However, these aren't the same Mega Arms (http://www.megaarms.com)built Forged uppers. Rainier Arms has told me that these are from a large machine shop specializing in mil-spec AR15 parts. They are also getting them in much larger quantities than Mega Arms could produce for them. These will be an additional offering in their lineup and will not replace existing uppers. Having purchased one of these, I noticed the finish isn't quite as nice, but it's also over $30 less than their Gen2 uppers. (http://www.rainierarms.com/?page=shop/detail&product_id=2197)
