Buying a new buffer tube for a build and saw that I could get a POF tube for about the same price as a regular mil spec tube. I know that the POF has the lip with the notch to capture your buffer detent and cradle the carrier, and is mostly used on piston rifles that have carrier tilt. Was wondering if anyone uses these tube on their DI rifle.

I could be wrong but it appears to be commercial diameter... That plus the feature is unnecessary. You're better off getting a quality milspec tube.

If you look around there are others that offer the "lip" on the extension if you really think you need that feature. I would just go with the BCM or LMT receiver extensions.
