Does the standard TA51, hold it's zero if removed? I've been wondering if I ever want to go sans, that I'll have to rezero it each and every time I remove it. Also, I was originally going to just use the TA51 mount but after what was discussed in the Military sans BUIS thread, I think I'd like a QD on the ACOG.

I'm really interested in the new ADM ACOG mount. The price point is pretty good and the quality comparable to the others on the market. I've only seen or heard of the new mount on the other M4 site. I guess it's so new, no one else has them yet?

Not really. It uses thumbnuts, and while you can mark the nuts with witness marks, you're are more than likely only going to get close but not exact. If that level of accuracy is acceptable to you, you should be fine. If you are expecting extreme accuracy then no.
I am wanting one of the ADM mounts for some ACOGs as well. For pretty much the same reason you want one.

Stick has a special talent for doing that sort of thing.

I know first hand! I have a 14.5" LMT, a DD Omega 7.0, 20rnd Pmags and XMT's because of him! I'm not complaining though, it's always top-shelf. [adore]

jeffy,

I hadn't handled one of the new ADM ACOG mounts using their B3 base, so I was reluctant to comment. A full review is going to be done on the mount (not by me), but I can say right now that this is laid out well, and based on the work that I've done with the other ADM mounts, its going to work very well.

The price sounds like it is very nice as well.

Well, I ordered one. Hopefully it will be here before the weekend. I also bought a Surefire G2 LED while I was at it since I have a Vltor Offset Scout mount with no light.

Well I'm sure if you call him he can set you up with one and a groovy moto flash to go with it!

The hat and the mount are from two different companies, unless you guys are talking about something that I missed.

No, you got it right. I'm always up for swag though. :P
