The Mako Group (http://www.themakogroup.com/default.asp) has a Monopod Buttstock (http://www.themakogroup.com/product_p/mba.htm) Add on for their existing Stocks, GL-MAG, GL-SHOCK, and GK-MAG. This monopod is design to replace the standard buttpad.
The MBA Precision Monopod (http://www.themakogroup.com/product_p/mba.htm) is designed to attach to the GL-MAG (http://www.themakogroup.com/product_p/gl-mag.htm), GL-SHOCK (http://www.themakogroup.com/product_p/gl-shock.htm), and GK-MAG (http://www.themakogroup.com/product_p/gk-mag.htm) in place of the standard buttpad.
Features:
• Increases LOP for shooting with magnified optics. In almost every instance, additional LOP is desirable when shooting an AR-15 with a scope and collapsible stock.
• Increases stability when shooting from a bipod.
• Allows for very precise, very fast, or instant elevation adjustments.
• With rifle held on target, a button instantly deploys the monopod to the desired height - no rotating or turning or swinging into position.
• Course adjustment quickly changes the elevation of the rifle
• Fine adjustment changes the elevation more precisely.
• Adjusts from flush with the bottom of the stock to 6 1/8" high.
• Does not add any bulk to the bottom of the stock.
