As a follow up on Master Quib's widespread recommendations on Ar-15 lube points, I'd appreciate comments and/or advice on JP Rifle's recently recommended use of Rydol3 (Extreme Pressure Non-Seize LubricantPTFE – Hexagonal Boron Nitride (HBN) – Moly (MoS2)) on contact points in fire control groups. My experience is limited but I do think that small amounts of this product does in fact stay in place better than other lubricants or grease that I have applied to contact points in my FCGs in the past.

It's overkill to sell a product.

For as little as $4 you can pick up a 1 oz container that would last most folks a few years. It sounds somewhat similar to Brownells Action Lube Plus, which actually costs more, and that's a product I've used with good results. Other than the initial cost, there isn't a downside to using something like this, but I don't thinks it's critical for most applications.
