Hey folks, I just found the forum and all i can say is WOW. I'm loving the product reviews and as usual, Stickman's photos pretty much leave you drooling.

Now, down to business.... Has anyone around here gotten any trigger time on the new KAC E3 rifles? Maybe someone got thier hands on a T&E model? I'm pretty sure I saw mounted one on a Magpul lower somewhere around here.

I have seen a couple of reports of them being ready to ship production models soon. I'm really curious how they shoot, especially interested to know how accurate the hammer forged barrels might be? To the lucky few who may have seen one, how would these compare to the Noveske N4? I have an E3 on order and would love to know what to expect!

Thanks!

Matt

Stick. Got any sexy pics of the KAC SR-15 E3 IWS with all the ambi controls?
Thinking about selling blood and semen to afford one, but need more inspiration/porn..

I ran a SR 15 E3 at the LaRue Tactical 3 Gun match, some pics can be seen here on ym review of the SR 15 E3 IWS

I swaped out the SR 15 E3 lower and used my comp lower, but the KAC SR 15 E3 upper was stock. Ran great, I have over 1 K in Xm 193 through it and it has not a single, again not a SINGLE issue.

I like the gun and its my "saves the day" rifle in my truck.

I do however love the Noveske barrels and use them now exclusively in competition. I think you would be fine with either a Noveske or KAC, both great companies producing excellent firearms.

Short and sweet. I have one and I am very pleased with it. Good shooter, like most quality weapons they can shoot better than most people can. Good CS if you need it. JMO but if you get one I beleive you will like it

Not currently, but I've been talking with Trey over the past few days, and I think we are probably at a point where it would be worth doing an overview of the weapon and getting some decent pictures shot.

Got one, love it, great upper. I think the ambi controls aren't all that fantastic, and a normal lower plus the eventual B.A.D from magpul would be just as effective.

The URXII mid-length rail is just about the coolest thing ever. I'll be running the snot out of mine this weekend in our Magpul Carbine 1 class.

I shoot my rifles Lefty, and this was the main reason this rilfe intrigued me.. I haven't found an Effective method of releasing the magazine without "Beer Caning" and hitting the release with my thumb. I would like to be able to use the "Drop Free" feature that all these mags I have are praised so highly for..
I'm gonna have to get hands on with one of these before I drop all that coin.. I figured the Ambi Controls would be better than posted above..

Not sure if this will help you with Ambi controls, but try the Norgon Ambi-catch Mag release--an easy modification that makes it so the mag release/catch is accessible from both sides. I picked one of these up at Northern VA GunWorks in Springfield, VA. I am right-handed and I use this to manipulate the charging handle, safety, mag release, and bolt catch/release, all using my left hand and from the left side of the gun.

I'm in a love affair with mine. Humbley, I think is the nicest "production" AR built. Do I think you could build a more accurate AR, probably, but not with these features.
It not up to Stickmans quality but...[adore]
