Midwest Industries (https://www.midwestindustriesinc.com/) is proud to release the MI-SSK-12 KeyMod Hand Guard

The MI-SSK-12 weighs 8.5oz WITH the barrel nut, actual length is 12.625", OD is 1.5", ID is 1.3".

It has 5 built in QD anti-rotation sling sockets, two on each side and one on the bottom front

There are 12 KeyMod slots on the sides and bottom of the hand guard.

Will be available in 12" and 15" lengths.

Expected to be available in 3-4 weeks.

Retail pricing will be $209.95 for the 12" MI-SSK.

As Jason Trusty put it, keymod definitely limits the aesthetics, but that is pretty impressive for weight and price. Has anyone been using the non-keymod version for some time? I'm curious how they're holding up.

Was trying to see where the 5th QD socket was and had to look closer again at the pics..First time that i have seen them there on the bottom front of the rail..interesting

The underside QD is something we have done on a few of our other handguards. This location allows for "traditional" rifle carry methods.

Slippers, we now have had the MI-SSG2 on the market for a couple of years and the feedback has been great.

Here is a photo of the 15" version. This handguard weighs in at 9.9 oz with the barrel nut.
