The Bravo Company GUNFIGHTER MOD3 (http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/BCM-GUN-FIGHTER-s-Grip-GFG-Mod-3-Black-p/bcm-gfg-mod-3-blk.htm) grips are now here. The main difference is that the MOD3 is about a quarter of an inch wider than the MOD 0 and MOD 1's. This is great for guys like me that did not like how narrow the first 2 versions were. Why they didn't call this the MOD 2? I don't know... but check out the new Bravo Company MOD3 grips here. (http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/BCM-GUN-FIGHTER-s-Grip-GFG-Mod-3-Black-p/bcm-gfg-mod-3-blk.htm)

Features:

Reduced angle for improved ergonomics and trigger control
Hinged trap door offering storage inside the grip with a water resistant rubber gasket
Each grip features an extended forward tang to close the gap between the trigger guard and pistol grip, and a high rise "beavertail" style back strap.
Up to a quarter of an inch wider than the BCMGUNFIGHTER Mod 0 and Mod 1 grips.
Made in the USA and manufactured from high quality impact resistant polymers.

MSRP $17.95

It is also worth noting that there is one more appreciable difference between the Mod 0/1 and Mod 3 grips.

Mods 0 and 1 ship with modular inserts that install just above the frontal serrations. These interchangeable inserts can be used to either provide a smooth front face, or an extended tang to cover the "pinch point" under the rear of a standard trigger guard. If you look at the pictures in the first post, you can see the lines on the front of the grip where these pieces seat in the grip body - meaning that those pictures are really Mod 1 grips.

The Mod 3 grips have an integral extended tang, as shown in the 2nd and 3rd posts. The rear of the guard is always covered.

IMO it makes the Mod 3 grip less well-suited for lowers with integral trigger guards (e.g., most billet and Noveske Gen 2 lowers.) I suspect use of a single molding is a large part of the reason the Mod 3 is priced lower than Mod 0 and 1. It might also suggest that Mod 2 was a smooth-fronted grip that (unfortunately) never saw production.

They have been around for over a year now and have received some favorable reviews (http://www.weaponevolution.com/forum/showthread.php?3981-BCM-Gunfighter-s-Grip). I have not had my hands on the Mod 3, but the main difference appears to be the increased grip width.

I have to say I absolutely love it. A majority of my rifles had Magpul MOE+ on them and I will be switching them out shortly. The ergonomics of the grip and slightly wider grip are great. First thing I noticed when shooting is that I felt like I had better control of the rifle.
