Parallax Tactical Super Light Low Profile Gas Block

Parallax Tactical (http://parallaxtactical.com/collections/ar-15-gas-blocks/products/pxt-gen2-low-profile-gas-block-750) has had their Super Light Weight Gas blocks available for awhile, but I haven't seen many pictures of them. Nor have I heard many people using them. I finally got my hands on one and installed it on a Rainier Arms 300 Blackout Barrel. The Gas block went on without any issues. It's held in by 2 set screws. My Barrel was already dimpled so it made installation very simple. Because of the cutouts on the gas block, there isn't enough room to pin the gas block to the barrel. Parallax Tactical PXT Super Light Low Profile .750 Lightweight Gas Block (http://parallaxtactical.com/collections/ar-15-gas-blocks/products/pxt-gen2-low-profile-gas-block-750). Machined from 4140 chromoly steel, finished in tough black nitride. Low- profile design has .1" thick side walls— 33% thicker than the leading competitor, and still two grams lighter. Once centered, two bottom grub set screws secure the gas block firmly. Easy-to-install chamfered gas block roll pin completes the process.

What's that screw sticking out of the front? Is it adjustable? If so I don't see that in the specs ...

I almost bought one of these just last week.

Ended up using a DSA, Inc. gas block instead and it worked well on a Mossberg OEM 16" .223/5.56 AR Barrel (http://www.aimsurplus.com/product.aspx?item=xatib556m4):

Yes, that's the adjustable gas block version.

I don't see the adjustable on their website but see it on resellers (sold out though). Does the adjustable version have a method of locking the adjustment screw?

Last time I talked to the guys at Parallax, they planned to make another batch of adjustable ones. The one I have has no obvious method of locking the screw.
