One gun shop that's local to me is running an auction on a one-of-a-kind AR in order to raise money to help fight the unconstitutional laws that started here in Maryland on October 1st.

Have a look and place a bid:

TB,

Is there any kind of grassroots campaign in MD to recall legislators that voted for this nonsense?

Gorgeous gun and worthy cause....bidding price is a little out of reach for me though.

There is no recall provision in Maryland. We do have an election coming up though.

Beautiful AR and a great cause. Wish I had the budget for it. On that note is there a donation spot to contribute to this fund raiser?

Hey Boss, we donate the money we make from these auctions to MSI (Maryland Shall Issue) and the MD Dealers Association. The MD Dealers Association is private but you can donate to MSI here: https://marylandshallissue.com/members/

We need it bro

We are working on lawsuits. There was an attempt to get an injunction on the implementation of the law, but the judge would not grant it. Unfortunately, this state is basically controlled by the two ultra liberal counties that border Washington DC along with Baltimore (also super liberal). The rest of the state is more conservative, but less populated. It's a very upsetting situation. The elected officials ignore most of the state.

...as is the case in too many states. Good luck with the lawsuits to you Marylanders.

I've got under 5 years until I can retire from the full time gig (this first 20 years went fast). If things don't change here by then, I'll be moving my family out of the state where I was born and raised….sad.

Truly sad - if things go that way here in WA I'll probably head over to Montana or other 2a friendly state.
