Cool, do they have a good finish to them? as far as anodizing and finish?

Front of the magwell some sort of serrations?

These remind me of the duller finishes of guns I had such as an older POF. I think they are nice, but they won't be mistaken for the same finish as Mega Arms or Seekins. Having said that, it's a lot of lower for $119.99

I agree with UWone77…these are a really cool rugged finish that I actually like even more than the deep black of a Mega or Seekins finish.

At $119, these are an absolute no brainer…pick one up.

The more I play with these lowers, the more I love the duller finish. I can't wait for a matching upper.

They look great! I was a little confused with some reviews stating some problems with mating up with different uppers. Anyone have that issue?

just got off the phone with customer service. They do have a line on making matching upper receivers and these should be available hopefully in approx. 1 months time. This is of course an estimated time and should not be held as an ETA.

I am building a 16" 6.8 build and have the JBO lower in house. Barrel is ordered and should be here early next week. I have a bolt and magazine also. Will be gathering the other required items over time. We will be welcoming our first child into our lives in early April so the build will be taking a backseat for a little bit.

Just wanted to share the info I got over the telephone by JoeBobs customer service representative

not exactly sure what you're looking for as far as info goes, but I'll try to answer.

I built a 6.8 on the JBO billet lower, using a CMT biller upper. For whatever reason, the fit on the front pivot pin isnt great at all. I made it work with some fitting, but I'm still not pleased that they didnt play well together. The lower fit well with all my other uppers and the upper fit well with all my other lower, but they didnt play well together. Others experience surely will vary.

As far as accessories.....
I'm not an operator or a warrior, I push holes through paper. I use what is comfortable for my shooting style and is aesthetically pleasing. Call it as you see it, but it works for me. I used a Fortis 14" REV Rail with magpul AFG and a Spikes Dynacomp muzzle device. The lower I used magpul MIAD grip, CTR stock, Magpul front and rear BUIS.
