Fortis Manufacturing (http://fortismfg.com/) is releasing two new vertical grips. They will be available in short and standard versions. In Fortis fashion, these have unique lines. These are definitely different in appearance, but they are very comfortable. Before you ask, they are aluminum, not polymer. I don't have the full specs yet from Fortis (http://fortismfg.com/), but I was able to snap a few photos.

Look for these to be released next month. We will update this announcement with more information as it comes in and additional photos.

Description:

With our newest item to the Fortis family line. We went true to our roots and integrated form with functionality. The new fore-end grip, the Shift™ is a hybrid of sorts. The shape works as a full-on vertical grip or as a comfortable hand stop when going with the thumb over method. The grip allows you to handle the weapon with the confidence and the organic design enables the operator to manipulate the rifle in ways that’s not quite possible with other vertical grip designs.

Lord, those are so sweet. I hope they drop a keymod version of the small one, but I'm buying a couple either way.

Guys, I had the chance to shoot a Mega AR with the Fortis Shift the other day. Very ergonomic and very comfortable to shoot. I am looking forward to getting more time with it, but these will prob end up on all my long guns....
