Looks pretty slick for an inexpensive sight. Any idea how long the battery lasts?

Unknown on the battery life, but I sure like the idea of using a common AA for something that I would most likely install on a range gun, like a M&P 15-22.

I couldn't agree more. Until now that's meant $800 Aimpoint Comp M4 for me, since I like using a battery that's available everywhere.

Naturally I don't have the same expectations from a $100 sight, but I love the AA battery option!

I'm going to buy one and check it out.

Web site says 1000+ hours. Interesting ...... I have a 15-22 also, may look into this. Thanks for posting

I have their older version (multi-reticule with the weirdo battery that I can't remember the designation) and it has been absolutely SOLID. I put it on my Nordic Component NC-22 in 2008-ish and I've run several thousand rounds (let's call it 5,000, but it might be more) through it and I'm still on the same battery. Obviously I turn it off when not in use, unlike an Aimpoint, but it's still going. I don't need a new optic like this one right now, but if I did, I wouldn't hesitate to get it.

Glad to see some reviews here. I was thinking about picking one up.

Posted while my co-worker is getting electrocuted.

Okay, can't review the sight itself yet but I placed an order with Primary Arms on Friday at 20:02. The sight was in today's (Monday) Mail !! And I picked the cheapest shipping, USPS Priority. So far I'm impressed with the company.

I picked the multi-reticule model for the circle-dot like my Eotech's. It's not a 65 MOA circle, but it is a very crisp image. We'll see how it zeroes. Won't be much stress on a 15-22.

Wow! If you are considering an AP M4, this is THE "trial" tool!!!
