For years there is a picture of a lower on the net where someone wrote "No Pew" "Pew" and "Pew Pew Pew" on the selector markings. It took a few years, but someone has finally made these selector markings a reality. Aero Precision (http://aeroprecisionusa.com/lower-receivers/ar15-stripped-lower-receiver-special-edition.html) is now accepting preorders for this special edition lower. Unanodized Lowers will ship this week. Anodized Lowers however, will be shipping on or before December 24th. If you don't have an auto sear handy you can always fork over $500 for a tac fire con trigger and actually move your selector to the "pew pew pew" setting.

Seriously though, this lower makes me smile, even if I won't be purchasing one. :)

Cool novelty idea, would've been much better if their were only a limited number released and make it their own original idea (making it a nice collectable), otherwise just another of a gazillion lowers on the market. Might have that engraved on my panic bought 80%'er that's been sitting forever in the safe, right next to a couple other stripped lowers.

I kind of see where you're coming from... but I guess I'm in the minority when I say, I view my guns as tools and defensive weapons. I don't see them as investments or collectibles like my safe queen curator friends.

I probably own way too many lower receivers, but every once in awhile when someone makes something fun or interesting I'll buy it just because I know I will eventually get around shooting the hell out of it :)

SPECIAL EDITION not limited, I would've snapped a few up if it was a limited edition. I doubt they'll put a limit on how many are produced since they're probably selling pretty well, because beyond the "PEW", it's just another lower with nothing to offer over the other millions that are out there now.

Last time I emailed them, sounded like this was going to be a semi-regular item. I wouldn't suspect having any issues getting one if you want one.

Looks like these will be discontinued for the mean time starting Jan 27th as they are shifting production to the GHOST lower. Get'em while you can. No word yet on if/when they will return.
