I know you probably hear this all the time but I figured one more time wouldn't hurt. The clear and smoke pmags that you never released are the bomb. I would eat my Wife's cooking for some of these.

I don't think this is going to happen. The polymers on the smoke and especially the clear ones did not have the same strength and were prone to cracking.

If they revisit these magazines it won't be for a long time.

......... I would eat my Wife's cooking for some of these. I laughed out loud! (-: Have you looked at Lancer's smoke magazines? Not Magpul obviously but they seem to get good reviews*. I recently bought one to try, however I cannot comment yet as I've not tried it.

*based on what I read here: http://www.skdtac.com/lancer-l5awm-30-p/lnc.111.htm

I have 2 of the Lancers but still want the PMAGs. Come on Magpul don't try and be rational, just make the magazines.

There's a window on that mag...

Probably because there are only windowed OA-Mags and they dont buy a injection mold just for the clear ones.

TPD had a few prototype clear PMAG's made by magpul. I remember doing some testing with them back in 2007 or so. They worked but the polymers weren't the best. The clear ones cracked pretty easily and were brittle, the smoke ones held up a lot better but not to the standard of the regular PMAGS. There are better clear materials out there but Magpul didn't want to play with TPD so it never materialized. I know they worked off and on to try to get their own mag into production, but the cost of it all and the erratic market conditions have put that in a semi-permanent holding patter. I think I sold 2 or 3 of the clear pmags for TPD on Gunbroker a year or 2 ago. They were pretty cool, and I hated to see them go, but helping friends is what I do and I couldn't say no. There are still some floating around, but I think its less than a dozen in total. If I remember right they were marked as T-MAG instead of PMAG. I will see if I still have pics of them on my computer.

On TOS Magpul requested one of their members return a clear mag that they were flaunting pics of. Magpul said that none were supposed to have be sold, that all tested mags were supposed to have been returned to them and that it was stolen property.
