VG6 Precision (http://www.vg6precision.com/index.php?id_product=18&controller=product) is proud to announce that they are now accepting pre-orders for their Epsilon 556 Brake. I've been personally very pleased with my VG6 Precision GAMMA brakes, so these should be just as good. The Epsilon keeps the dual port design, but adds prongs at the end to assist with flash suppression. See the video below.

Preorder your VG6 Precision Epsilon here. (http://www.vg6precision.com/index.php?id_product=18&controller=product)

They should have pre-drilled it for a 14.5".

That's a great idea. I'll pass that along. They are advertising that it makes a 14.5 into a legal 16" so that's definitely something they should do.

May have it in stock. If your wanting a brake have you considered the Lantac Dragon? It's getting better reviews than the Surefire.

Never ordered from them, they're the only shop I found that didn't say out of stock. They are however listed on VG6's website as an authorized retailer.

I just saw on VG6's website that they are another couple of weeks out for more Epsilons. Anyone have a review?

I just left a message on their website, Black Forge Weapons, to see if they are in stock. Probably won't get an answer until Monday. I'll post here if they contact me.

I ordered mine today, and yes MF, you're right. They are expected to ship in two weeks, according to the lady on the phone, and the copy of the order form that they emailed me.

I took my new rifle with the BCM Lightweight Keymod and thin barrel to the range today for it's maiden run. Ran smooth as a sewing machine, but the front being as light as it is, it was near impossible for me to keep on a 10 in. target at 10 yards with a 10 shot rapid fire string. I hope they work out as well as advertised, that rifle can sure use it. If the Epsilon works as well as advertised, I might buy a couple for other rifles too. Guess I'll have to wait a couple of weeks to see....

The above is the reason I've never been a big LW profile fan. I usually run government profile to assist with barrel bounce.

Thanks for the heads up FT..looking at this or the new RAC from rainier. As i also have a 16" LW build that needs a brake.

I received another email from Black Forge. They are expecting the V6G Epsilon brake to be shipping first thing next week, vs. 2 weeks or so.

If any of you are looking for a source of these, BlackForge - blackforgeweapons.com sent me an email that these are in and mine has shipped today. I'm looking forward to testing this on the last rifle, with the Lightweight BCM upper that I had a bit of a time with holding on target doing rapid fire drills.

If it works as well as the video portrays, I'll order another. I have a project in the starting phases, that will use even a lighter barrel, an Adams Arms Voodoo "Lite" 16" at slightly under 1.5 lbs., and a MI SSK lightweight hand guard.

No more reviews, all they do is make me want to spend money.

Update: Black Forge sent me an email to discuss something with me, and I was told that they only got 3 of the Epsilon Brakes, and I had bought 1. So, I ordered a second so I'd have one for the lightweight KMR that I built, and one for the new Voodoo "ultra-lite" that I'm piecing together as of late. Only 1 left, there, if anyone still wants one. After it's gone they're on backorder again for 2 mos. Just thought I'd let you know, since there seemed to be some interest in ordering them.
