There has been some exciting new things going on at Battle Arms Development (http://www.battlearmsdevelopment.com/) for the upcoming 2014 new year. Your favorite manufacturer or selectors and push pins have some new products coming. One of the things we can tell you is that they now have a new logo.

What's with the new logo you ask? Well, it's nice to have a new logo, especially when you may need one for say something like a roll mark on an item that requires an FFL:

Looks like Battle Arms is already making great use of their new logo on their soon to be release Lower Receivers.

The BAD-15 lower receivers will be meticulously made, the custom foam and containers ensure their perfect condition in transit (retail box will look different ;))

Love the simple roll marks. I'm never going to have any money.

How much to they want for "protection" from this happening again? It seems that they've already broken a lot of your picture windows... ;)

$2.99/month or $30 a year. I guess I've posted so much now, I need to pony up!

I'd throw in a few for this. Awesome site and more pictures are definitely needed! Let me know.

Looks like Battle Arms Development is taking that whole "attention to detail" concept to another level. Would not expect anything less from Roger and the crew:

The official, custom made Battle Arms Dev. lower receiver transport case & high density foam trays are finally ready! We take the utmost care in every step of the manufacturing process. The BAD-15 Forged Lower Receivers will go straight from the CNC machines to the custom foam trays in the hard case to the anodizer and back to the shop for packaging. They are babied every step of the way.

The case is costly but cheap compare to the high density CNC'ed foam. We have seen the pains of shops having to scrap pallets full lower receivers and sell them as blems. They were crushed, dinged and scratched up during transport as they were simply throw into a box with cardboard dividers. This case and foam is re-useable and will pay for itself many times over during its lifetime. We are not making $89 run-of-the-mill lowers but high quality forged lowers with WIRE EDM cut magazine wells, precision reamed to size pin holes, 3D Laser Engraved Logo and many quality work that may not be seen by the naked eye but they are there. We aim to set a new gold standard for forged receivers and to be among the best of the best.

Is there a projected street date yet?

Not right now. I'll leak info when they tell me/let me.

Roger from Battle Arms chimes in here once in awhile. Maybe he will give us details once the date of release gets closer. My best guess right now is Summer.
