LANTAC USA (http://www.lantac-usa.com/) has had some great success with their new DGN556B brake. The next product they have in development for release is the 308 Dragon. The brake will be called the DGN762B and will work with any 7.62 or smaller chambered barrel with a 5/8×24 thread pitch. LANTAC (http://www.lantac-usa.com/) should be releasing these brakes very soon, so stay tuned with their website here for ordering and release information.

Some T&E units were sent over to the guys at Active Shooter Defense School and here is what they had to say.

The ASDS Crew Spent the day testing the new LANTAC .308 Muzzle Brake. Short version: The Lantac .308 out preformed our expectations! We tested it against a few other brakes on a few platforms and the end results were staggering. The accuracy of the weapons improved dramatically! This was something nobody expected. The addition of a brake improving accuracy? It makes no sense to me but the fact remains on a standard SCAR Heavy, back to back test revealed 1.5″ groups with the stock brake and 3/4″ groups with the LANTAC! Don’t ask me to explain the science, I just know I witnessed it happen. The expected results were even staggering, rapid fire split times with a stock brake equipped AR-10 were averaging .52 the Lantac brought the split down to .39! We ran comparison tests between the AR-15 (.35), AR-10 (.39), and the SCAR H (.36). These spit times are AMAZING for a .308. The muzzle climb (or lack of) is spectacular for a .308. Test conditions: Elevation 1650′ 100M range 68 deg temp, 0 wind, all accuracy tests shot with multiple shooters prone position with a bi pod. Ammo was 147g factory Lake City for all tests. Same lot number. Weapons were cleaned prior to each accuracy test, shooters fired 10 rounds each/ each brake @ 100m. Split tests were averaged out of 3, 10 round runs on each weapon in the standing position.
