Looks like the guys at MI have really stepped up their game the last couple of years. That's a great looking matched set, but any chance the font on the lowers gets revised?

I was thinking the same thing. That is a stupid looking font on an otherwise fine set. May as well have used Comic Sans.

Midwest,

Any reason you guys decided to go with 6061? Any concerns about durability? I imagine you guys did a lot testing before releasing the lower. Still looks good and has great lines!

We have a lot of experience with 6061 aluminum and have no concerns at all with the durability of these lowers. With the amount of material in critical places we have no doubt these lowers will hold up to use just fine. Our test team have been putting them through their paces with no issue. We have found the flared magwell does make for a faster mag change. [:)]

Thank you,

I think it would look great if they used the same font they've chosen for the S/N for the manufacturer info and selector markings.
