Daniel Defense is now manufacturing their own stock, grip and VFG, which all have a rubberized traction surface. The grip has an integral trigger guard. The stock has a QD socket built in. Variants are available in brown.

Idk about the rubber on the stock, being against your face.

Also too bad the grip doesn't interface with lowers with integral trigger guards. Otherwise I'd be inclined to try one.

Eric

Thanks for keeping us current on what you see this week and for fighting the crowds for us. Interesting development, DD moving into an already-crowded accessory market. I guess if they're selling the complete rifles, they already have a captive market.

Gotta tell you though, I wonder about that rubberized piece on the stock. Seems like it might be a stubble-grabber. Did you get a chance to shoulder one?

Negative on the Mk12. One of the other guys might have it and if not, I'll see what I can do. I wasn't excited about the rubberized stock at all.

I'm obviously not at SHOT, but I found these pictures of a 15" DD Lite Rail. I've always wondered why they never did a 15"

And also a picture of a complete DD rifle with their new furniture and new FDE cerakote:

I would like to hear a report on it. Even if is not a good review I wouldn't mind trying one just to make up my mind. DD has the funds to invest in R&D and I am sure they did their homework to keep up with the quality rifles they produce

Stock, no thanks, but the grip, I'm going to have to give that a serious look.
