Tactical Fire Control Inc. (http://tacfirecon.com/) 3MR Trigger includes a drop-in trigger assembly and safety selector. The manufacturer claims this is a non-NFA item, ATF approved.

The 3MR is a drop-in 3-mode fire control system with Safe, Semi-Automatic, and Tac-Con™’s patented 3rd Mode. The 3rd mode has a positive reset that dramatically reduces the split times between shots. The positive reset characteristic is achieved by transferring the force from the bolt carrier through the trigger assembly to assist the trigger back onto the front sear. As a result, this gives the firearm the fastest reset possible. Both semi and 3rd mode positions exhibit a non-adjustable 4.5 pound trigger pull weight.

Back in the days when I used to be a dumb kid playing paintball, there was a company (I forgot what the name war) that marketed a trigger system which offered a fake-ish full auto capability. From what I can remember, the trigger was reset by the gas that the paintball gun used to project a round. If the shooter pulled the trigger and moved his finger slightly, between the point of full engagement and the point of reset, the shooter could use the recoil of the painball gun the "bounce" the trigger off of his finger and mimic a full auto gun. There were problems with the system in that you were basically causing an uncontrolled discharge and ran a high risk of breaking a ball in your barrel.

I'm just curious if this trigger works on the same principal? Or is this a trigger with an extremely shot trigger pull?
